Garvey’s To Celebrate 25th Anniversary With Weekend Of Giveaways And Offers

.
Tim Moynihan of Garveys Supervalu Tralee is looking forward to welcoming you for the store’s 25th anniversary celebrations over the next few days.

IT’S been 25 years since Coronation Street star Ken Morley arrived on Rock Street to officially open Garvey’s Supervalu to much fanfare with crowds thronging the streets outside.

While his character — bespectacled ‘Freshco’ supermarket manager Reg Holdsworth — has faded from memory, the business on Rock Street has gone from strength to strength, undergoing a major makeover last year and over the next few days they have something extra special planned for customers to mark the anniversary.

It all starts tomorrow, Thursday, and continues until Saturday, with voucher giveaways, a chance to win Munster final family tickets, a daily food fair from local suppliers, live jazz and more.

There’s also specials of 25% off all products in the instore bakery on Thursday, 25% off instore fish on Friday and an amazing 50% off steak on Saturday.

It all adds up to an incredible upcoming few days at the store so call in for the celebrations. Check out Garveys Facebook page for updates and offers.
