Get Rid Of That Banjaxed Telly At Free Recycling Events Around The County

ERP-logoIF you’re looking to get rid of that broken toaster or banjaxed TV then you can get rid of them for free next month.

The European Recycling Platform (ERP), in association with Kerry County Council, are to hold free electrical recycling events in Tralee, Rathmore, Dingle and Kenmare.

The Tralee event takes place at The Mart, Caherslee on Saturday, August 8 from 10am to 4pm.

Householders are encouraged to bring along their electrical waste and used household batteries – any unwanted electrical items with a plug or a battery and all items will be responsibly recycled free of charge. Recycling Officers will be on hand to help with the unloading of items.

If you don’t live in town then next Friday, July 17 could suit you when the event takes place in Rathmore Community Centre Car Park.

If you live out west you can drop the unwanted material to  Dingle, The Mart on Saturday, July 18 before heading to Killarney for the match.

Kenmare people can use the free facility on Friday, August 7 at The Mart, Gortamullen.
