GARDAI in Tralee are investigating an alleged sexual assault on a man with special needs.
In the early hours of last Friday morning, it’s alleged the man was assaulted by another man in the town centre.
The man, who has special needs, left a pub in Castle Street, Tralee and it’s alleged he was followed by another man along Castle Street and a sexual assault took place.
No arrest has been made.
Despite the large numbers in town over the Festival period there were only just over 30 arrests made, mainly for minor public order offences.
There were no major violent incidents, but there were some reports of handbag and mobile phone thefts around the town.
