IT’S time for the lads to get in touch with their feminine side and to take part in a women’s running event next month in aid of a great cause.

The Dawn Killarney Women’s Mini Marathon takes place on Saturday, October 8 at 11am and there’s a 5k and 10k run included in the event. Mental health awareness activist, Colin Aherne, is looking for as many men to get involved as possible so they can raise funds for Jigsaw Kerry.

“I’m looking for all male runners available to run for Jigsaw Kerry. Please sign up and support young people’s mental health in Kerry. The money and awareness will go along way,” said Colin. Men are also encouraged to dress for the part (optional) and raise awareness for the service.
