Senior Men – Our Junior team were beaten by just one goal in the semi-final of the Barrett Cup after extra time v Ardfert away on Saturday. Best wishes to Ardfert in the final and well done and thanks to our management and team for their efforts with this competition from all of us at the club.

Mothers & Others Notes – Training continues on Monday evening at 7pm. We have a blitz Legion on October 5th.  If you’re looking for a way to get fit, make new friends, and have a laugh, come along! No experience necessary.Contact Aisling on 087 2428358 for more information.

Minor Team – Our team is currently taking a well deserved break. We will be in contact in the next week or so on plans for the remainder of the year.

Academy – Well done to all the boys and girls who trained on Sunday morning. Thanks to Ballymacelligott for travelling to Ballyseedy where we saw great skills on display by all teams, boys and girls. There was fun had by all and thanks to the players, parents and mentors for making the morning such a success.

Under 9 Boys – John Mitchels U9 Boys put in another good session on Sunday Morning last. The boys worked on their fitness with some fun activities & then practiced their ball skills. Training continues next Sunday morning for our U9s from 10.15am and we look forward to seeing you all then.

Under 8s and 10s Girls – Great training and effort being put in by this group. Thanks to Dave, John and Paula for hosting a great training session on Sunday. Keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing you all next Sunday.

John Mitchels Under 13 girls who are now through to County Final after their win over Laune Rangers on Sunday evening.

Under 12 and 13 Girls – John Mitchels Under 13s played Laune Rangers on Sunday afternoon in the U13 County Championship and following a great performance are now through to the final.  Well done to our girls and their management team for representing our club so well.

Under 14 and 16 Girls – Our Under 15 girls play Beale in the County Championship on Thursday evening at home at 7pm,

Under 11 Boys – Matt and Jonathan took our troops through an enjoyable session. A number of kicking, soloing and possession drills were performed. The session finished with 2 games. The kids were given a soloing activity to complete over the weekend. There no match this week. Training continues again next Sunday at 10.30. Until then keep practicing.

Under 13 Boys – Our Green team played Austin Stacks in the Town League Division 1 final on Sunday evening. It was not to be our night, despite a spirited performance by the team against a strong Stacks team. This team has made tremendous performance progress this season and there was some excellent football on display by the team. Our thanks for the enjoyment this team has given us this season and our thanks to the players, management and parents for their effort all season. We await details of our County League game v Ardfert.

Under 14 & 15 Boys – Training takes place this Monday and Thursday at 7pm. Please look out on our social media for details of our game v Stacks in the Town League which is due to take place next weekend.

Bingo – Continues Wednesday and Friday at 8.30PM at the John Joe Sheehy Road. Over 18s only. ID must be provided on request.

Lotto – John Mitchels GAA Club Lotto Results: Sunday 22nd September 2024. This week’s Lotto numbers are 16, 17, 25 & 28. The numbers today were drawn by Clubforce. There was no winner of the Jackpot of €4,250.00. Congratulations to our three lucky dip winners this week:
