KCFE To Host Information Evening For Parents Of School Leavers

.

PARENTS and guardians of school leavers are invited to an Information Evening Talk being held by Kerry College of Further Education, Clash, Tralee this Tuesday, March 6, commencing at 6.30pm.

The talk was scheduled to take place last Thursday but was postponed due to the weather.

The event is specifically geared towards educating parents on the full-time further education options available at the college which can be accessed outside of the traditional CAO system.

The college has grown significantly in recent years with over 750 students enrolled this academic year.

With over 60 programmes being offered for next September there is something that will capture the interest of everyone.

The focus of the Information Evening will be on how the PLC programmes at KCFE allow graduates to go directly into employment after completion or to be used to access third level programmes at Institutes of Technology and Universities nationwide.

It is so important that parents really understand the full cohort of options that exist for school leavers and so information will be available on the extensive range of quality assured programmes which are nationally and internationally recognised.

This year programmes will be filled on a first come first served basis subject to entry requirements being met.  Applications are being accepted currently online at kerryfe.ie

Admission to this Information Evening at KCFE, Clash, Tralee is free with light refreshments available on the night.
