We would like to wish all our players the very best of luck as they embark on this new journey.

Community:

Louise Quill was this week named Kerry person of the year for 2024.

It’s a richly deserved award recognising the work that Louise has done for the past 17 years when she founded the Tír na nÓg Childrens Foundation in Tanzania.

In her own tribute to Louise, the Cathaoirleach of the Kerry Association in Dublin, Mary Shanahan, praised everything the Tralee native had achieved:

“This award is presented in recognition of Louise’s exceptional work in leading Tír na nÓg to provide essential services and infrastructure to those in need in Tanzania.

In what is an unique family association the Kerry ladies football team, co-managed by Declan ( Quill) have been selected to receive the Laochra Chiarraí award.

It promises to be a night to remember for the Quill family on Sat 19th October when the awards  will be presented at the Association’s annual Oíche Chiarraí which will be held in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel, Dublin on Saturday, October 19.

Comhghairdeas ollmhór le Louise agus Declan as an éacht seo.

Juvenile academy continued Sunday morning as usual for all age groups in attendance.  It was great to see such high numbers in attendance. Everyone enjoyed a fun filled session with their coaches while learning key skills as well.
