BLUES fans won’t have to travel far as Kerins O’Rahillys are to play their Garvey’s Supervalu Kerry SFC semi-final with Dr Crokes at Austin Stack Park.

The game against the current county champions will be the second game of a double header at the ground on Sunday, October 14 and a feast of football awaits fans as some of the best attacking talent in the county will be on show.

David Clifford and Co from East Kerry will face off against Paul Geaney’s Dingle in the opening game at 2pm, while the main event from a Tralee perspective will be at 3.45pm when Kerins O’Rahillys will hope to repeat the heroics of last month in Killarney.

The Killarney side will be favourites after looking very impressive disposing easily of the challenges of An Ghaeltacht and Killarney Legion.

Everyone expects East Kerry to vanquish Dingle in the first game too — after their free-scoring run to the semi-final — to set up the ‘dream final’ against Crokes, but this is championship football and anything can happen.
