THESE are difficult times for the Kerry Hospice Foundation, as many of the regular events held in aid of the charity have fallen victim to the COVID-19 restrictions.
One of their biggest fundraisers is the annual coffee morning later this month, where people and businesses host get-togethers in their homes and workplaces. Last year around €70,000 was raised in Kerry from the event.
However, because of public health guidelines and restrictions on the amount of people allowed to gather in homes, they are asking people to contribute in a different way this year.

The coffee morning is still going ahead on Thursday, September 24, but people are being asked to donate via a justgiving page.
Kerry Rose Sally Ann Leahy helped launch the fundraiser on Saturday morning with volunteers from Kerry Hospice, who are encouraging people to hold coffee mornings in a safe manner outside if weather permits, while adhering to public health guidelines.
