KMHA To Host Fundraising Business Breakfast At The Meadowlands

ANXIETY in the hybrid workplace is the theme of Kerry Mental Health Association’s second annual fundraising business breakfast at The Meadowlands Hotel on #TieDayFriday, October 4.

Taking place from 7.15am to 8.50am, the event will be of interest and benefit to employees, employers and the self-employed with tickets, including a full Irish breakfast, available from www.KerryMentalHealth.ie/breakfast.

The General Manager of Kerry Mental Health Association, John Drummey, said; “Recent reports have revealed that 1/5 of Irish firms experienced mental health related issues and over half reported an increase in mental health related issues in the past year.”

Since the COVID-19 pandemic the number of employers that allow employees to work from home has increased three-fold. What has the impact of this been on our mental health? Our panel of guests will offer attendees an insight to how we can work together to overcome the challenges of remote and hybrid working.”

The guest experts include Dee Lynch, Training and Education Coordinator with Mental Health Ireland; Dermot Dennehy, CEO Managing Remote Teams; and Dan O’Donoghue, Manager of the Asentiv Ireland South franchise.

Radio Kerry’s Elaine Kinsella and Andrew Morrissey will present Kerry’s Full Breakfast live from The Meadowlands Hotel between 7am and 9am on the day.

Proceeds from #TieDayFriday will assist with the cost of rolling out FREE and affordable Mental Health First Aid and other mental health educational activities in Kerry.
