Man Arrested At Railway Station As €1,000 Worth Of Ecstasy Seized

 

garda_1A MAN from Dublin was arrested on Tuesday as Gardaí seized €1,000 worth of ecstasy at Tralee railway station.

The operation was carried out by the Kerry Divisional Drugs Unit and a second man was later arrested in the Rathass area in a follow-up operation.

Both men have been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Meanwhile, Gardaí are investigating the theft of a number of smartphones stolen from handbags in the Dome on Tuesday night, at the disco after the Rose of Tralee selection.

Overall though, it was a relatively quiet Festival with no serious incidents reported.
