THE annual Kerry GAA ‘Night of Champions’ returns to the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium next month and it promises to be a fun night out for the family.
The event, taking place on Friday, June 16, is a fundraising event for Kerry GAA teams and will see the county’s football and hurling stars in attendance to meet fans.
The Race of Champions, sponsored by the Kerry Supporters Club, will be just one of eleven quality races on the card.

The event will also feature a Best Dressed Lady competition kindly sponsored by Jasmine Boutique, a penalty shoot-out featuring Colm “the Gooch” Cooper plus many other former greats of Kerry GAA, while there will be loads of attractions for the kids including their favourite cartoon characters.
Speaking at the launch at the Fitzgerald Stadium in Killarney, Declan Dowling, Sales and Operations Manager of Kingdom Greyhound Stadium stated; “We are thrilled to have the Kerry GAA Supporters as our new sponsor of the Race of Champions and it emphasises the importance that Kerry GAA place on having this prestigious race as the centre piece of their annual massive fundraiser for the training fund for all their inter county teams.”
Donie O’ Leary, Chairman of the Supporters Club stated; “We are delighted and privileged to come on board as sponsors of the very famous Race of Champions and look forward to seeing Ireland’s top canine stars battle it out for the €15,000 first prize.”
Christy O’ Connell, Chairman of the fundraising committee commented, “We look forward to seeing all of the Kerry GAA supporters come along on June 16th to meet all the Kerry GAA players up close. We will also have a Best Dressed Lady competition sponsored by Jasmine Boutique, .”
