We’ve had a number of wind warnings over the past week with the rain falling incessantly, but now the cold is here.
Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow – Snow/Ice warning for the entire country today. Wintry showers of hail, sleet and snow with localized accumulations, especially on high ground, and icy stretches on roads and footpaths.
The warning is valid from 11am today until Sunday at 11am. Tralee Chamber Alliance has organised a ‘Snow Day’ in town this afternoon, so they might get some real snow to go along the machine-generated stuff!
