“We will have tea, coffee and treats for all who attend. We ask that people do take bikes if you can for our symbolic event (cars are welcome). Our event is open to all of the public and everyone is very welcome to join us in the celebration of the Dawning light/life.

“We wish to highlight the impact cancer has on society and in the biking community, we have all lost loved ones to cancer, especially over the last few years. I lost my step father to cancer three years ago Anto Carroll and our club member Tony Hickey lost his mom Joan Hickey two years ago to cancer also. ”

“We want to encourage people to attend their doctors on a regular basis because early intervention is key when dealing with a cancer diagnosis. We are very excited to hold our event and to have a positive outlook on life,” said Ruairi.
