RIP: Our sincere sympathy to the family of the late, great Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh who passed away on June 25th. Suaimhneas sioraí dá anam uasal.

Bingo: Na Gaeil Bingo tonight (Monday) at 8pm sharp. Our Mini Accumulater Jackpot House is worth €340 in 54 calls. We also have a Raffle and Split the Bucket at half time. Bus available on (087) 2817577. Over 18s only. Hope to see you all there for an excellent night out.

Volunteers: The club are looking for people to help out at bingo on Monday nights. If you can spare 2 hours every 5 or 6 weeks then Niamh (087-9863667) would be delighted to have you on board.

Na Gaeil Abrew:  A lot of hard work has gone on behind the scenes over the last few weeks to set up a Coffee Dock in the club and the facility received a great reception when it opened last Saturday selling tea, coffee and snacks. Well done to everyone involved.

Return of underage training 2024: Our juveniles are back in training for the 2024 season. Contact details for the various age groups are as follows: U5’s – Denis Sugrue (087) 2808719. Club Summer Camp: Our annual Campa Samhraidh Peile will be held this year from Aug 5th to 9th for children aged between 5 and 13.

The camp will run from 10am until 2pm each day. The cost will be €45 for 1 child, €80 for 2 children from the same family while 3 or more children from the same family will cost €105. The link to register is: ​https://www.klubfunder.com/Clubs/Na%20Gaeil%20CLG

U5s: Another great Sunday morning training for the u5s. Many thanks to guest coaches from Galway and Donegal and a special mention to the Coffee Dock as a place to gather and chat after training. Honestly the beating heart of a community-based club.

U7s: Our u7s were delighted to get a new set of jerseys last week. A big thank you to everyone who helped to organise the jerseys. Yesterday morning they practiced their high catch, soloing, crouch lift and kicking skills. Well done to everyone, it’s great to see everyone getting involved and enjoying themselves. Training continues on Thursday at 6pm.

U11 Boys: Well done to the Na Gaeil under 11 boys who trained hard yesterday morning. After the training the boys were treated to fresh fruit while the parents got their fix of tea and coffee. A great buzz around Na Gaeil during the morning.

U17 Boys: Congratulations to our minor team and management on their victory over Cordal in the Keane’s Supervalu Division 4 Co. League final last Friday in Ballymac. Final score was Na Gaeil 4-12, Cordal 2-12.

Senior Men: Our senior B team will host Ardfert B tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 7.30pm in Round 1 of the Tralee/St. Brendan’s Board Junior League.

U18 Girls: Good luck to our u18 girls who will be away to Firies tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at 6.15pm in the semi-final of the Co. League Div. 4.

Senior Ladies: Unfortunately our seniors ladies lost to Scartaglen last Monday night in the semi-final of the Donal Curtin Cup.

U21 County Championship: St. Brendan’s Board got a walkover from Laune Rangers in the semi-final of the U21 County Championship last Wednesday so they will take on local rivals  Austin Stacks in the final next Wednesday night in Austin Stack Park at 7.30pm. Good luck to the lads, especially the Na Gaeil players involved.

All-Ireland Senior Championship (Men): Well done to Diarmuid O’Connor and the Kerry team who beat Derry in the All-Ireland quarter-final yesterday in Croke Park. They can now look forward to a semi-final against Armagh on the weekend of July 13th/14th.

All-Ireland Senior Championship (Ladies): Wishing the best of luck to our girls Deirdre, Mary, Bríd, Eilís & Jaydn and the Kerry Ladies next Saturday when they take on Meath in the Lidl Ladies All-Ireland Championship quarter-final. The tie will take place in Austin Stack Park at 5.15pm.

Hurling: Good luck to all the Na Gaeil players taking part with various clubs in the Garvey’s Supervalu Senior Hurling Championship over the next few weeks.

Changes to Car Park: We would like to make patrons aware of the new wheelchair accessible parking bays and the yellow box for ambulance parking which have been added to the club’s car parks recently. Please keep them free at all times for people who need them.

Girls Training: Na Gaeil Ladies juveniles (u8/u10/u12) are back training for the new season. New members are always welcome. For more information contact Eddie on 087-6791460.

Big Screen: All GAA football championship games and Euro 2024 games will be shown live on the big screen in the bar throughout the next couple of months.

Hire the Hall: The hall in the clubhouse is available for parties or other events. Please emailnagaeilclubhouse@gmail.com if you’d like to make a booking.

Na Gaeil cycle club: Cycle each Saturday at 9.30am and Wednesdays at 6.30pm from Na Gaeil club. Everyone is welcome to come for a nice friendly cycle.

Cards: The weekly 45 card game is held every Wednesday night starting at 9pm. Everyone is welcome.
