SO it’s all over for another five years.

The John Mitchels GAA Complex hosted the counts for the Tralee, Listowel, Corca Dhuibhne and Castleisland electoral areas, to decide which councillors would take their seats on the Council for the next term and there was no shortage of drama throughout the weekend.

Candidates and their families went through a range of emotions during some tense moments while Council staff meticulously checked the ballots to make the electoral process was as accurate and transparent as possible.
