YOU couldn’t ask for a better morning for a cycle on Saturday, as around 90 people set off from the Na Gaeil Club in Killeen.
Their annual cycle was brought forward from August this year and was a great way to warm up for the Ring of Kerry Cycle in July.
The 1956 Rás Tailteann winner, Paudie Fitzgerald, had a the honour of starting the cycle.
Conditions were ideal as they set off from on the 40km route to Castleisland and back, but there was also an 80k route for more serious cyclists to tackle before returning for refreshments in the clubhouse. Scroll down for photos…
