Assistant Manager of the Training Centre, Con O’Sullivan feels this is just the beginning of a wider change: “Our level of engagement with the public across Open Week is a clear sign that parents, school leavers, career changers and jobseekers are looking for a more direct route to work – through practical skills training programmes such as Apprenticeship, Traineeship and Professional Development –training that we specialise in here in the Monavalley Campus.”

A new sales focused Digital Marketing Traineeship was announced as well as a new partnership with Code Institute who offer accelerated training for people who wish to change career and work as Full Stack Software Developers.

This partnership was announced at Momentum 2019 – an event hosted by Kerry ETB Training Centre and Kerry SciTech – which was attended by 80 guests who heard Daniel Mackey of Teamwork’s incredible success story of a start up which now has 24,000 paying customers across 183 countries and clients which include Disney, Netflix, Forbes, Paypal and Spotify.

The week also saw Fexco Innovation Lead Guillaume Py launch The Cloud Lab – a new IT Training & Support Hub. The training centre’s 2019 prospectus was also launched.

Kerry ETB Training Centre will run a further apprenticeship event later in the year. The centre runs skills training all year round – their full range of programmes are available to browse and book online: www.kerryetbtrainingcentre.ie Scroll down for photos…
