THE excitement has building for months and Ballyroe will be buzzing on Sunday at the second Abbeydorney GAA ‘Battle of The Parish’.

There’s eight teams assembled who will perform a song, dance and drama segment from a well known movie. There’s all new teams from last year and they’ve been put through their pace over the past couple of months.

It’s set to be a fantastic night and a big money spinner for the club’s development. Tickets are €20 and on sale from any committee member or for more information contact their facebook page

There’s a drinks reception at 6.30pm and the show starts at 7.15pm. There’s also live music after the event and a fantastic door prize to the value of €500 for an overnight stay for two at Carton House Golf & Spa Resort, including a spa treatment and a round of golf.
