PHOTOS: Big Day For Juniors At Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn and Holy Family

A NEW experience and new friends awaited pupils at schools all over town on Wednesday.

At Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn there were two classes of junior infants  beginning their schooldays and everything went smoothly, with the tears drying up once parents left the little ones with the teachers.

The same was true at Holy Family with one class settling into their new environment and plenty of support from teachers to help them. Once the first day is over they’re flying! Scroll down for photos…
