PHOTOS: Bikers Set Off On Poker Run For Great Causes

THE weather was fine on Saturday afternoon for a ‘Poker Run’ by bikers who set off from the Imperial Hotel to help worthy causes.

The Tralee Rotary Club in association with DA Jokerz MCC, were running the five stop run around north Kerry and West Limerick.

“This year the two organisations to benefit are Kerry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre and the Water Survival boxes,” said Karl Heaton of Tralee Rotary Club and DA Jokerz Bike Club.

“The water boxes are put together in England and sent all over the world to those who need it in times of disaster. It’s a very deserving cause,” he said.

The Rotary Club were also bag packing for the organisations in Tesco Manor West on the day.

The bikes went to Flanagans Bar in Listowel, then to Shannon House in Foynes, on to Leane’s Hotel, Abbeyfeale and back to The Abbey Inn with all venues providing teas and coffees and food for the participants. Scroll down for photos…
