IT wasn’t looking good for a while last night as the wind and rain lashed the streets of Tralee.
The crowds were thin on the ground too, even up to 8.30pm when the parade was due to start. By the time the parade eventually reached Castle Street it was 9.15pm and thankfully the rain eased off to bring the crowds out.
This year’s 57 International Roses, the Rose of Tralee Jennifer Byrne and RTÉ TV Presenter, Dáithí Ó Sé were among the 700 people who took part in the event, including marching bands and the Rosebuds.
It was a colourful affair and, as usual, the night ended with a super fireworks display. Scroll down for photos…
