THANKFULLY, the morning showers cleared in time for the CBS Primary sixth class pupils to arrive dry for their Confirmation ceremony at St John’s Church on Thursday afternoon.
Pupils from three classes taught by Mr O’Connor, Mr Costello and Ms Ryle at the school were receiving the sacrament and they were joined in the church by proud families who were all dressed up for the occasion.
The sun came out and the dry weather allowed families to mingle outside the church afterwards and pose for photographs before heading off for private celebrations. Scroll down for photos…
