FOLKS around Tralee were busy whisking batter and flipping pancakes this morning for Shrove Tuesday.
Over in CBS Primary School, pupils donned their chef’s hats and aprons and had super fun preparing pancakes for their classes.
“The most popular process by far, has been choosing toppings,” said teacher Michelle Culloty. “We have had some mouth-watering combinations, with Nutella definitely being the strong favourite among all ages. It has been a great morning so far, and the production line is still in full flow,” she added.
Over in Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn, pupils were having similar fun.
“This is our fourth year having a pancake day where the teachers provide the batter and the parents association distribute 300 plus pancakes,” said principal of Gaelscoil Mhic Easmainn Cáit Uí Chonchúir
“It’s parents and teachers coming together and providing a very enjoyable day for the children at school,” she said.
Over in Siamsa Tire, staff were having flipping great fun too as this tweet shows.
