WELL known sports broadcaster Tim Moynihan was delighted with the fundraising sports table quiz held in The Rose Hotel on Thursday night.
The quiz saw funds going towards a charity event for Pieta House in Tralee which will see Radio Kerry’s Terrace Talk host Tim Moynihan and friends Louise Ryan from Kilmoyley and Ted Cronin from Rathmore take a dive for the charity.
The trio are planning a skydive in the spring and people from all over town and far beyond lent their support at the quiz.
A team from Churchill were the winners collecting trophies and vouchers from Garvey’s Supervalu. The Austin Stacks club won a training session with Aidan O’Mahony, while there were many other spot prizes on the night, including a signed jersey by David Clifford which went to a team from Askeaton.
