THE bad weather didn’t deter parents and prospective students from attending CBS The Green’s Open Night on Thursday.
Over 500 people turned up on the night to see all the school has to offer. Teachers were on hand to welcome the guests to the school and to show them around.
The visitors were taken on a tour of the school, where they got to take part in science experiments, watch pupils put their woodwork skills to the test, and talk to present pupils about what it’s like to attend CBS The Green.

Principal, Anne O’Callaghan, said; “This is the time of year where people start making up their minds where they want their sons to go. We’ve lots of stands to give people an opportunity to see what’s happening at CBS The Green.”
She said; “It’s great to have so many students as well here on the night, so they can give their own perspective on how things are here to the parents. It’s good to see it from a student’s point of view.”
Overall, it was an exciting night for prospective students as they got an insight into what their academic future might hold at CBS The Green. Please scroll down for photos…
