THERE was a huge turnout for the Tralee 10 Miler/5k race on Sunday.
Hundreds or runners set off from outside The Rose Hotel and thankfully the rain held off for the most part. It had to be postponed a few weeks ago because of the weather but yesterday was more forgiving and Storm Jorge was well gone by the time the runners headed off on the route.
Organised by Michelle Greaney of MG Coaching, the event is in its third year and is going from strength to strength with over 350 registering to take part, while 287 eventually ran.
