THE Rose Hotel was the venue for a special event last Wednesday hosted by the Kerry Businesswomen’s Network (KBN) in association with AIB.
The night featured two panel discussions, networking opportunities and heard stories from Kerry businesswomen who have challenged themselves and are presently writing the next chapter in their chosen career.
It was also a chance for local businesswomen to meet potential clients and to register for membership with KBN.
Next Chapter was a panel discussion facilitated by Orlagh Winters, fashionista and fashion blogger, with four women – Breeda Hurley of ABC cleaning; Joanna Kelly, Director of Digital Greetings; Aisling McElligott of Mauh a beauty salon and Martina Ryan Murphy, music tutor and choir co-ordinator.
Another panel discussion – Flying Solo was facilitated by Clio O’Gara, Head of Hospitality solutions – Tierney’s Office Automation Ltd.
It featured Caitriona Py Collins of CPC Marketing Consultants; Karen Mahony formerly Digital Media Design Manager for British Telecom and Digital Brand consultant at Wolff Olins; Katie Clifford of KC Consulting and Marie Looby, a director at Peregreen Energy Ltd.
A speed networking session took place between the panel discussions and there was also refreshments and a light buffet dinner served after the event. Scroll down for photos by Tara Donoghue from the event…
