THE stars of the future took to the Na Gaeil GAA club pitches on Wednesday evening for a fun blitz between the town clubs.
Organised over the course of a month, Austin Stacks, Kerins O’Rahilly’s, John Mitchels and Na Gaeil are each hosting a night of matches to give the kids a chance to show their skills. This week it was the turn of the Oakpark club.
“It was great fun for the kids. There was about 15 matches on five pitches and 100 youngsters took part on the evening,” said Barry O’Donoghue of the Na Gaeil club.
