THE St Pats GAA faithful gathered on Saturday night to look back on a successful period in their history and also to look to the future with a sense of optimism.
The function in The Rose Hotel was an occasion to reflect on the period of 1989 – 1995 when they won three County Championships (Novice, Junior & Barrett Cup) their first St. Brendan’s Championships and Leagues, West Kerry Leagues with the Senior and Junior teams as well as their first Minor County League.
The ladies were also recognised for their achievements in the 90s and there was a good turnout of current players too at the event which saw around 120 people attend.

With some past players who may have lost touch with the club also present, it was an opportunity to try to encourage them to get involved again.
Eamonn Sayers gave a presentation on that successful period and there was loads of photos to jog the memories of those present. With music and finger food provided, it was a great social occasion for the club. Scroll down for photos…
