THERE was a great turnout at Kerry County Museum on Thursday evening as the Art in the Park artists, in association with Tralee Chamber Alliance, showcased their works.
Their Off The Rails exhibition is titled ‘Our Creative Identities’ and Tralee Chamber President Nathan McDonnell was on hand to officially open the exhibition which will run until April.
The Art In The Park artists gather each spring/summer to hang their works on the railings of the Town Park on Denny Street every Saturday.

Tralee Chamber Arts Officer Rebecca Lyons welcomed all to the exhibition and gave thanks to the artists for their support throughout the year.
The group also thanked Helen O’Carroll, Claudia Kohler and the team at Kerry County Museum for the use of the space to host this exhibition and Tralee Chamber Alliance for their support.
Nathan McDonnell said he had long admired the selection of paintings hung on the railings of the Town Park over the years and that the work displayed in this exhibition was fantastic. He congratulated the artists and hoped that they would sell well.
This year artists were asked to produce work that reflected their own styles and creative practice and there is a huge amount of variety and medium of works this year.
If anyone wishes to purchase the paintings they are asked to contact Rebecca Lyons at rebecca@tralee.ie or call 086-8690322. Scroll down for photos…
