THERE was a great atmosphere in town on Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t just because the All-Ireland Final is just a day away.
The Tralee Food Festival is in its first year and is proving a major hit, the fine weather also added to a pleasant afternoon with artisan delights at every corner.
Along with stalls set up in the Square, a food trail took place through the centre of town stopping off at 11 different bars and restaurants en route.
The festival is continuing right over the weekend so there is still time to enjoy all the food and beer that is on offer.
