AROUND 50 boys and girls gathered at the GAA grounds in Caherslee this week as the Tralee Parnells club held a summer camp.
All were welcome to take part and learn new skills and the kids, ranging in age from six to 14, looked very talented from the games we saw when we called on Thursday morning.
“They were learning different skills in hurling and played some matches. They really enjoyed it,” said David O’Dea, Hurling Games Development Administrator for South Kerry.
The club will have their CĂșl Camp from August 14 to August 18 at Caherslee and all are welcome, even if they never picked up a hurley before. Scroll down for photos…
