RADIO Kerry is to receive €100,000 in funding from the Broadcast Authority of Ireland (BAI).
The funding initiative has been awarded by the BAI to help promote greater awareness and understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic across the independent commercial radio sector.
Allocations ranging from €37,500 to €100,000 have now been approved by the Authority, with the maximum amount awarded to Radio Kerry.

Minister for Education and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley has welcomed the announcement saying: “Radio Kerry provides a vital broadcast service to the entire Kerry region and beyond, covering everything from current affairs to light entertainment and community notices.
“This funding is an acknowledgement of the excellent work and journalism that they broadcast on a daily basis to homes throughout the Kingdom.”
