THERE’S still tickets available for the hottest gig of the weekend in Tralee when renowned DJs play a night of 90s and 00s dance music at The Greyhound Bar.
‘Retrospective’ will see Mark Kavanagh and Eibhlin take to the decks on this Saturday, February 4 at the Pembroke Street venue. They’ll be joined by Dollar, Cian Shields and Dessie Mac on a night of nostalgia for dance music fans.
Award-winning Irish DJ Mark Kavanagh co-founded Ireland’s first ever electronic dance music label, Red Records, with Tim Hannigan and the pair produced dozens of tunes (mostly under the guise of Sound Crowd) between 1992 and 1995.

The Dubliner was a headliner at the famed Irish festivals Homelands Ireland, HiFi Ireland, Creamfields Ireland and Planetlove.
He has played in front of 35,000 people at both Feile 95 and Feile 96 festivals and in front of 40,000 people at the Trade stage at the Leeds Love Parade some years later.
Kavanagh has supported The Prodigy on several tours, Faithless, Primal Scream, Scooter, Orbital, Carl Cox, Eddie Halliwell, Lisa Lashes, Underworld, David Holmes, Sander Van Doorn, Ferry Corsten, Mauro Picotto, Tall Paul, Dave Clarke and Hacienda Classical.
Tralee native Eibhlin is an established DJ with Hed Kandi in London and her talent has brought her all over Europe and beyond. She loves coming home to play sets in her hometown and is looking forward to being back in The Greyhound.
