Search Is On For The New Miss Kerry

THE search is on for a Miss Kerry to represent the county as the quest for the 77th Miss Ireland begins.

The search has officially begun for a lady to follow in the footsteps of current Miss Kerry Leah Galloway (21) from Ballyheigue who is a mental health nursing student in MTU Tralee.

During her time as Miss Kerry, Leah chose Kerry Mental Health Association as her chosen charity.

Leah has enjoyed the experience, making new friends and the support from the Kingdom has truly amazed her. She can’t thank people enough for the opportunities she has been given as Miss Kerry.

The search is now on to find contestants from each county to take part in the Miss Ireland 2024/2025 competition.

The winner from each county will represents their county and title various events, awards and appearances and also take part in a in a spectacular show on March 29th 2025 to crown the new Miss Ireland and Mr Ireland.

The finalists of Miss Ireland this year will be put through their paces in a challenging competitive process testing their skills in debating, public speaking, talent, sports, modelling, social media and each finalist will be tasked with raising much-needed awareness and funds for their chosen charities.

Established in 1947, Miss Ireland has been the launch pad for many eminent, successful, and inspiring women in Ireland.

In recent years the Miss Ireland Franchise has raised over €350,000 for various charities including Laura Lynn, Temple Street, Alzheimer’s Ireland, Pieta House, The Cari Foundation and this year are proud to partner with The Julian Benson Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

The winner of Miss Ireland and Mr Ireland will receive a lucrative agency contract and a host of prizes and then both will jet off to represent their country at their respective Mr World and Miss World Festival which is televised in over 100 countries around the world.
