I KNOW you’re already perked up as it’s Friday, but here’s some more great news!
The word from Met Eireann is pretty good for Kerry over the coming days, while a ridge of high pressure will stabilise over the country next week bringing warm, mild weather hitting 20 degrees at times.
Today and Saturday are looking great with temperatures hitting the high teens, while there may be a slight chance of cloudiness or even (gasp!) an odd shower on Sunday.

But better yet, next week looks great! Early indications are that temperatures will hit 20 degrees with little or no chance of rain right up until at least this time next week according to many weather websites, while Met Eireann shows no rainfall forecast over Kerry in their 5-day forecast up until Wednesday.
So dust off the BBQ set you bought in June, get the garden furniture back out of the shed and enjoy it (make sure you have a blanket and a cup of Bovril close by for the evenings though, it is September after all!)
