STUDENTS and businesses learned about the latest developments in banking technology through its ‘Lab On The Go’ showcase which visited town this week.

The AIB ‘Lab on the Go’ was in the Castle Street branch on Monday and Tuesday, fresh from its stints at Skibbereen Digital Week and the National Ploughing Championships.

The lab shows banking of the future through technology and visiting students from local schools enjoyed the  in-branch competitions running throughout the days.

Then on Tuesday afternoon, the lab relocated to HQ Tralee, the business hub located at Abbey Street, where start-ups were given a presentation on ‘Unlocking the Power of Digital for your Business’ with Claire Liston from the AIB social media team.

There was also an opportunity to get one to one advice from AIB Business Experts and a number of presentations geared towards getting their business ready for 2017, including:

*IBB & My Business Toolkit – presentation by Karl O’Brien SME Automation Specialist
*Protecting Your Income – presentation by Ann Marie Ring – Customer Financial Planning Specialist
*AIB ‘Lab on the Go’ – learn about AIB’s offerings in Banking Technology.

The free presentations proved very useful for all present and showed how AIB can help the entrepreneurs to grow their business to its full potential. Scroll down for photos…
