Juveniles

U6: We were glad the rain stayed away today & we had a small fun session. We changed up the plan today to include a ball based warmup & an obstacle course with egg & spoon, ladders & ball drills. A fun game of roller ball against the adults kept the spirits up! Thanks to Johnny Enright for helping us with a new kicking drill. Well done to Paddy Costello for big smiles & great involvement this week.
Hope you see you all next week when settled back to routine!

U8: In blustery conditions the under eights put in a good session at the academy last Sunday morning. Isaac showed some good skill with his hand passing, Blake with his kicking, Rían and James with some good combination play. Well done to Hugh on getting the Player of the Week trophy, he always puts wholehearted effort into the sessions so keep up the good work Hugh.

U10: Our U10’s had a good training session sharpening their skills under the watchful eyes of Seamus and Conor. A lot of fun was had with various drills to further improve their skills.

Don’t forget to keep practicing your skills at home. Training continues next Sunday at 10.30am on the pitch.

U14 Girls: We are at home to Kerins O’Rahillys B in Round 4 of the North Kerry Board. The time for this fixture is 7pm and it will be played this Thursday. Your support will be appreciated.

U14 Boys: Our boys will be playing in Group 2 of the St Brendans U14 league against Churchill and Ballyheigue on Sunday 16th September in Blennerville at 12 noon. It will be in a blitz format with matches to be 15 minutes a half and the top two teams qualifying for the final. We wish the team the best of luck in this competition.

Minors

We are away to Castlegregory Monday evening, August 27th at 7pm for a Central Region Minor Competition. We wish the team best of luck for this fixture.

Senior B Team

We were scheduled to play Glenflesk last week in a qualifier but they had to forfeit the match due to their inability to field a team. This now means we will be in the draw for the Barrett Cup competition. More details to follow.
