Juvenile Academy:

The curtain came down on the St Pats u-8 season last Sunday morning after 46 sessions including training sessions indoor and outdoor on our brand new astro turf, games, blitz’s and tournaments, a special club mass and cake sale in Curraheen,  a parade through Tralee on St Patrick’s day, Oiche Ghaelach in Keane’s, table quiz, scór, a walk on the Dingle way challenge,  a family fun day and lovely new sets of goalposts.

As usual there was a great turnout of Boys & Girls who were all presented with St Pat’s medals and beautiful certificates by Kerry senior footballer Barry John Keane for the great progress they made with their football skills during the year.

Huge credit is due to the players for the effort they gave during the year. The u-8 management of Johnny Enright, John Breen and Sean Daly would like to thank them all.

Also a special  thanks our Juvenile chairman Seamus Murphy, Juvenile secretary Mary Wallace, club PRO’s Therese Greaney and Andrea O’Donoghue and all the parents for their help during the year.

It is important that you all keep practicing your skills during the off season and we hope to see you all in 2016.  Naomh Padraig abú.

Academy 2015:

Sunday last saw the curtains come down on a very busy & successful academy for 2015.  Kerry and Kerins o’ Rahillys marksman, Barry John Keane presented our Reiltini (u 6), our Realta Reatha (U 8) and our Sar Realta (U 10) with medals of excellence and certificates of achievement for their endeavours throughout Acadamh Peile 2015.  We also had 2 x well known & certified clowns present to add to the fun.  Refreshments were served and everyone —young & old enjoyed the autumn sunshine.

Thanks to Barry John who was very popular amongst the emerging stars and offered lovely words of encouragement regarding practicing, listening and having fun and  stood for many photos.

Buiochas Thanks to everyone who helped in any way throughout the currency of  the busy academy 2015.  Many hands make light work.

Until 2016…………Mol an Oige agus Tiocfaidh Si

Minors:

Our minors played Na Gaeil last Saturday evening in the Central regional final but unfortunately it wasn’t our day. Short a lot of players due to injury it was a tough battle right to the final whistle but our boys never gave up. Well done to trainers Eoin Sayers and Luke Mulligan for bringing this team so far this year.
