Well done to all the boys and girls who had a fun session on the astroturf practicing all their kicking and running skills. Roisin and Katie earned players of the week for their enthusiasm and kicking skills. We have a normal training session next Sunday and look forward to our family fun day on the 22nd of September. Up St Pats!!

U7

Well done to Tadgh who was player of the week. He wasn’t feeling it at the start but really got into it after that and played really well in the game. We will organise a game for later in the week.

U8 Girls

Great blitz in Na Gaeil Sunday morning which was very well organised, we played four games, and our girls were very competitive and showed off all their skills and the coaches were delighted with them. Keep up the practice at home and we will see them again next Sunday morning.

U9

Our U9 boys had a great session on Sunday morning. Great effort from all the boys and we finished up with a super game against our u10 girls. We are at home to Austin Stacks this Tuesday at 7pm.

U10

Another great turnout for an early morning session this morning, great to see all the girls showing great enthusiasm, skill and having fun. Today we focused on passing and shooting, two very important parts of the game, the girls did very well and showed it in a tough game at the end against the boys U9’s.

This week’s player of the week was Sophie, who showed great skill and enthusiasm as she does every week. Well Sophie. See you all next week girls!

U11

St Pats U-11’s had a busy week of games. We played An Gaeltacht last Thursday in a back game in the Central league and then Sunday we hosted our neighbours Churchill. Both games were very entertaining competitive games.

We were slow out of the blocks in both games but eventually our players settled into the game. We showed good composure in possession, great skills tackling, blocking, hand passing and accurate kicking.

Well done to all our St Pats future stars who played in both games. We are due to play a challenge game Thurs 19th of September but we will be on contact with parents with details of same during the week.

Training continues Sunday mornings. There has been a great turnout of late but It is really important all our players continue to attend and most importantly keep practicing the skills at home during the week. Naomh Pádraig Abú!!
