A NEW and novel fundraising initiative, the Austin Stacks GAA Quid Game Event, was officially launched last Friday at their Connolly Park headquarters.

This event, inspired by the hit Netflix series ‘Squid Game’, is scheduled to take place on October 25 in the Ballyroe Hotel, Tralee.

Quid Game, powered by ClubSpot Events, is designed to deliver all the excitement and suspense of the original series…minus the intense violence or course.

Participants will engage in a series of six skill-based games that test their accuracy, endurance, and hand-eye coordination. The competition promises an adrenaline-pumping experience for all involved.

Local and neighbouring club members from across the country are invited to compete for an impressive cash prize of €10,000. The winner will also have the opportunity to donate part or all of their winnings to a club or charity of their choice.

By involving a wide range of participants and spectators, the event is expected to foster a sense of unity and support within the community.

Additionally, the club extends an exclusive invitation to other clubs to nominate their players for this novel event. The public is also urged to attend and cheer on the competitors, ensuring the event’s success through community support.
