Stacks Looking For Dancers To Take Part In Their Strictly Event

THE search for Stacks ‘Strictly’ dancers is underway.

Yes, it’s back once again for the ninth year running and on Saturday, August 31 couples will  take to the floor of the Festival Dome for Austin Stacks Strictly Come Dancing 2019.

“We’re still looking for people to get involved, so if you want your night of fame get in touch! It’s great enjoyment and there’s nothing quite like the experience,” said Mairead Fernane,  Chairperson of the Stack’s Club.

“Initially, when  people are asked to take part they usually say ‘I couldn’t do that’ but having agreed and  spent one or two sessions with  Jackie O’Mahony, the Maestro herself, they just seem to come alive and get into the swing of it and begin to wonder why they ever doubted themselves,” added Mairead.

So this is your opportunity to experience the  wonder of the Dome at the end of the summer. Strictly is very much a Community effort  so wherever you come from or whatever area of town you live your are very welcome to take part  and remember you have loads of time for training for your part!
