A STATUS Orange Thunderstorm warning for Ireland has been issued by Met Éireann for the entire.
Thunderstorm activity expected. Due to the sporadic nature of development, not all areas will be affected. Heavy downpours of rain and hail will occur in places. Flooding where heavy downpours occur.
However, looking at the predicted rainfall radar on the Met Eireann website, it looks like Kerry will escape the heavy rain.
The warning is valid from 3pm on Sunday to 9am on Monday. Meanwhile the Status Yellow High Temperature warning is still in place until 6am on Monday morning.
