The Kerry Camogie team who beat who lost to Dublin on Saturday.

Defeat for a gallant Kerry Camogie team in Austin Stack Park in Divison 1A of the National League.

Kerry came up a very strong Dublin team and battled hard but were outscored and outclassed for most of the game.

In fairness to the Kerry ladies they never gave up trying. Jackie Horgan scored all but one of Kerry’s points, the remaining point coming from Amy O’Sullivan.

Kerry were behind by a goal after 20 seconds when Aoife McKearney fired to the net.
Jackie Horgan had three points for Kerry to level matters on three minutes before struck for another goal by Emma Flannigan.

Sarah Murphy had saved another goal attempt on twelve minutes, Kerry added four more points before halftime, to leave the halftime score Dublin 2-07 Kerry 0-07.

Kerry faced an ever increasing wind in the second half and only managed two points, the first of those came on 55 minutes and the second at full time from the stick of Jackie Horgan.

Special mention to the Kerry defence who were tireless in their efforts especially Aoife Behan and Rachel McCarthy. Mention also to Ciara Moloney who pulled off a fantastic save towards the end of the game.
