TWO people are in hospital in Tralee after a road accident at Tonevane, near Blennerville, yesterday evening.
The crash involved a car and a van at around 6pm. The man and woman in the car suffered injuries and were taken by ambulance to Kerry General Hospital.
The woman’s injuries are believed to be serious.
A YOUNG woman was injured today when she suffered a fall on The Mall.
The accident happened around 1.15pm on the footpath. Members of the public comforted the woman, who was in a lot of pain, while they waited for an ambulance, two of which arrived at approximately 1.45pm.
Paramedics then spent some time attending to the woman at the scene, before eventually taking her away in the ambulance for treatment in hospital.
