A TRALEE-BASED physiotherapist has been appointed Vice President of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
Dr Corinne Evans will take up the role at the Society which is the national professional body representing over 3,000 Chartered Physiotherapists in Ireland.
While head office is in the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, thanks to technology and remote working, much of the workload for the position can be done without affecting Corinne’s private practice work in High Street, Tralee.

“It is such a great honour to be appointed. I look forward to exciting yet very challenging times ahead,” said Dr Evans, who was the first Kerry person to be appointed to the executive board of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists in January of 2018.
The society is respected and recognised both within and outside the profession as the voice of Physiotherapy in Ireland.
It is the sole Irish member of the International Physiotherapy Professional Organisation, the World Confederation for Physical Therapy.
