IT may have been a wet afternoon, but people came in their droves to the Horan’s Healthstores Health and Wellness Fest yesterday…and it’s going on again today from 10am to 5.30pm!

Taking place in The Rose Hotel, they have key speakers including renowned nutritionists Patrick Holford & Dr. Marilyn Glenville, nutritionist and author Oliver McCabe, but there’s also 50 Exhibitors in attendance where you will be able to sample healthy snacks & beverages as well as gaining valuable advice from qualified Nutritionists and Specialists who will answer any queries you may have.

There will also be health screenings which will include; BMI Testing, Cholesterol Testing (10am until 1pm), Bio-Resonance Testing, Reflexology, Skin Analysis, Eye Analysis, Makeovers, Hand & Arm Massage. There is also Qi Gong & Pilates workshops. Scroll down for photos…

Fantastic Line-Up Of Speakers For Horan’s Healthstores Health & Wellness Fest

HORAN’S Healthstores are delighted to announce that they will be holding their premiere Health & Wellness Fest on Saturday the 6th & Sunday the 7th of October at Manor West Hotel Tralee from 10am until 6pm each day.

Horan’s Healthstores currently have 14 Health stores in the Munster region.  “Having visited Health shows all over the world, I felt it was time to bring one of these Health shows to Tralee,” Sandra Breen Regional Manager Horan’s Healthstore Group.

Over the two day event they will have key speakers from Ireland, the UK and the USA, which will include world renowned nutritionist Patrick Holford, renowned nutritionist & author Dr. Marilyn Glenville, Dr. Mary McCaffrey of The Scotia Clinic, Tralee along with renowned TV personality Lorraine Keane & Nutritionist and Author Oliver McCabe.

John Baldwin will talk about CBD Oil. His talk is titled: What is CBD oil? Everything you need to know about this latest health trend.

Horan’s Healthstores will have Ruben Tabares, he is one of the most in-demand strength and conditioning coaches in the world with clients such as Sean (P. Diddy) Combs, John Terry, David Haye, Naomi Watts & Amir Khan to name a few.

Kevin Quaid will hold a book signing on Saturday the 6th along with being available for questions.  Kevin’s Book, titled “Lewy Body Dementia Survival and Me”.

Kevin was diagnosed with Lewy body Dementia when he was 53yrs old. The story takes a look at his life, the highs, the lows, and sometimes his struggle with life itself.  This book is real and raw and its’ aim is to help those who find themselves in the same position as Kevin and his family.

Topics that will be discussed will include Hormones, Brain Health, Menopause, Importance of Fish Oils, Cholesterol, Nutrition for the Family, Stress, IBS, Problems Sleeping, Immunity, Joint Care, Weight Loss, Fertility, Sports Nutrition, Vitamin D deficiency, Importance of Multivitamins, Probiotics, CBD, these are just some of the topics that will be covered over the two days.   There will be up to 35 key speakers during the weekend featuring live cookery demonstrations.

There will also be workshops, that will include Cholesterol Testing (Limited Availability), BMI, Ear Coning, Acupuncture, Reflexologists, Makeovers, Skin Care Advice, Eye Analysis, Vitamin & Mineral Testing, Food Intolereance Testing, Energy Tapping, Crystals & more.  All work shops will be FREE of charge but have limited availability!

There will be 50 stands which will include sampling of health foods & healthy beverages.  There will be qualified nutritionists and specialists available to answer any questions you may have on both days.

Kerry GAA Nutritionist Kevin Beasley along with members of the Kerry GAA panel will be available for a Q and A Session along with discussing the importance of good nutrition in sport.

Vegan-ish Book Signing with Style & Beauty Guru and Author Holly White.

Tickets cost €10, which are available in all Horan’s Healthstores. (there will be limited availability) Customers are advised to book early to be assured a space for Key speakers.  A full itinerary is now available in Horan’s Healthstores’ free monthly magazine.

HORAN’S Healthstores will hold their official Ría Organics Skin Care launch this Friday evening at 7pm at Horan’s The Square Tralee with special guest Mary O’Donnell Beauty.

 

Tickets are €5 and are redeemable on the night. They are available from Horan’s The Square.
