Organised by an interagency steering group, the Kerry Mental Health and Wellbeing Fest is held annually to highlight World Mental Health Day on 10th October.

Steering Committee volunteer, Caoimhe Keogan of Jigsaw Kerry, said, “The key focus of the Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest is to create an awareness of, and schedule events that empower people to engage with the Five Ways to Wellbeing – Connect | Be Active | Take Notice | Keep Learning | Give. In doing so, we are encouraging people in our communities throughout Kerry to take time to learn, talk, reflect and engage with others around the topic of mental health and wellbeing. We are committed to raising awareness of the available mental health and wellbeing supports and services in the county. It would not be possible to facilitate such a varied programme of events without the people who are hosting activities. I wish to thank them all on behalf of my colleagues on the Steering Committee.”

All events are free registration is essential and can be done by visiting the website or following #KerryMHWFest on social media.
