MISS Kerry 2017 was held last night in The Brehon Hotel in Killarney and, as reported earlier (click here for previous story), it was a Ballyduff woman who won the crown.

THE Brehon Hotel was the venue for the glamour of the Miss Kerry 2017 contest last night and the venue was packed to see another north Kerry winner.
After Niamh Enright from Listowel was crowned last year, she handed over her title to a Ballyduff lady, Tamara Goggin.
She beat 20 other beautiful women from all over the county, watched by a packed audience of families and friends of the contestants at the Killarney hotel.
The judges – blogger and brand stylist Laura Mac Sweeny, former Kerry Rose Mary Hickey and blogger and stylist Aideen Feely – had a tough decision on the night and Tamara will now go on to take part in the Miss Ireland contest later this year.
The contest was organised by CK Event Management and the contestants enjoyed and afterparty in K-Town bar in Killarney later that night.

MISS Kerry 2017 was launched on Saturday night at the Brehon Hotel in Killarney. A few Tralee ladies will be among the 23 women who will take part in the competition on May 5 at 8pm at the Brehon Hotel.
This year, the participants are from all over Kerry and each participant also has their own sponsor.

THE organisers of Miss Kerry 2017 are currently looking for is now looking for applicants for 2017.
The competition is open to women throughout the county, offering a great experience for the contestants, encouraging confidence and promotes ‘girl power’, say organisers.
The competition has become very popular in recent years, with the 2017 event already gaining a lot of interest and entrants.

Miss Kerry 2016, Niamh Enright, will hand over her crown after an exciting year representing her county at Miss Ireland, as well as award events and fundraisers. She was crowned Miss Kerry at a great event in The Brehon Hotel last March.
